Membership Options

There are 4 membership options available:

OPTION 1: BBCC & Cycling Australia Partnership

If you currently race or are considering racing sometime in the future you will need to join Cycling Australia (CA) . Renewing or transferring your current  CA Membership can be completed by using your login from Cycling Australia. To obtain a Day Race Licence click here  or for any Cycling Australia membership enquiries contact their head office on 03 99986810

OPTION 2: BBCC & Bicycle Network Partnership

If you are not planning on racing and are interested in recreational and/or touring cycling albeit individually or as a family, you will need to join our Bicycle Network (BN) membership.

OPTION 3: BBCC Social

Our $20 p/a social membership includes access to our regular club rides, social events and club kit discounts however this membership EXCLUDES insurance. This type of membership is ideal for regular visitors, interstate locals or non riders wanting to enjoy our club actvities. OPTION 4: BBCC & Triathlon Australia Partnership

For those wanting to participate in multi-sports such as cycling, running, swim squads, Splash & Dash sessions then our Byron Tri Club is the one for you.  To join or renew with the Byron Tri Club please click here for Triathlon Australia.  This membership includes insurance during training sessions as well as a licence to race in Triathlons. Alternatively if you’d like to join as a training member without insurance or a licence click on the Byron Bay Cycle Club & Tri Club Social Membership application

Adult Tri Licence $162 p/a
Junior Tri Licence 12-19 yrs $71 p/a
Junior Tri Licence 5-11 yrs $34 p/a
Family of 2 adults & 2 juniors will receive a 20% discount
Social Tri Training membership is $20 p/a

Membership Terms & Conditions –  RISK WARNING

I acknowledge that the Cycling Activities are inherently dangerous and may involve risk. I recognise and understand that there are risks specifically associated with Cycling Activities which include, but are not limited to, collisions and contact with other participants and road users, riding on roads which are or may be closed or partially closed to traffic, the remoteness of the areas in which a ride takes place, sudden and unexpected changes in weather, physical exertion and difficulties in evacuation if I become disabled. I acknowledge that accidents can and often do happen which may result in me being injured or even killed, or my property being damaged. Prior to undertaking any Cycling Activities, I acknowledge I should ensure I am aware of all of the risks involved, including those risks associated with any health condition I may have.  By participating in rides and events conducted by the club, I acknowledge, agree, and understand that participation in the recreational services provided by Byron Bay Cycle Cycle Club may involve risk. I agree and undertake any such risk voluntarily and at my own risk. I acknowledge that the assumption of risk and warning above constitutes a ‘risk warning’ in accordance with relevant legislation, including the Civil Liability Act 2002 (NSW), Civil Liability Act 2002 (WA) and Civil Liability Act 2002 (Tas).
