The Art of Bikepacking

Bikepacking is a type of cycling that combines elements of road cycling and backpacking.

It involves carrying essential gear on a bike, typically using specialized bags that attach directly to the bike frame, for multi-day rides on mixed terrain such as paved roads, gravel roads, and sometimes trails.  Bikepacking emphasises self-supported travel, lightweight packing, and exploring remote or less-traveled areas. This style of cycling offers the freedom to venture into backcountry landscapes at a faster pace than hiking, while still providing an immersive outdoor experience
